Alaskan cod swim in deep, cold water — very extreme conditions. To survive and thrive, these fish need strong immune systems and their livers play an essential role. In cod, the liver accounts for nearly 20% of the weight of the fish. The large size of this organ tells us quite a lot about the metabolic power that is needed to keep a fish resilient in a harsh environment.
We partner with fishermen who use hook-and-line equipment and flash freeze the fish immediately on the boat. These are humane and eco-friendly practices that set a high standard for quality and help protect the vital resources of our planet.

Alaskan Cod

The nutrients that take center stage in any conversation about fish oil. Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), and docosapentaenoic acid (DPA) are known to improve chemical messaging inside the body.
