Hayley's Romesco Sauce with HTB Sprout Powder

Blended with roasted red peppers, sundried tomatoes, and immune-supportive Himalayan Tartary Buckwheat, this sauce is perfect on roasted veggies, beans, toast, or as a vibrant dip. INGREDIENTS FOR THE SAUCE

  • 2 cups of roasted red peppers, drained
  • ½ cup HTB Sprout Powder Parmesan
  • ¼ cup sundried tomatoes, drained
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon fine sea salt, to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper or chili powder
  • ½ cup extra-virgin olive oil

INGREDIENTS FOR HTB SPROUT POWDER PARMESAN

  • 1/4 cup HTB Sprout Powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 3 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup macadamia nuts or cashews


METHOD

First, blend parmesan topping ingredients. Set aside and measure out a ½ cup. Store the leftover parmesan for other recipes (like pesto, popcorn, or salad toppings).

Blend the ½ cup of HTB Sprout Powder parmesan with the remaining ingredients until smooth and creamy. Use this sauce on roasted vegetables, brothy beans, toast, or even as a dip on its own.
