The Pioneers in Revitalizing Himalayan Tartary Buckwheat

Himalayan Tartary Buckwheat is a true superfood. It’s a plant that contains more than 100 powerful polyphenols, and science is demonstrating that these nutrients may influence the gut microbiome, cellular immune system activities, and overall wellness. It’s not a grain, but rather a fruit seed, which means it is gluten free, and it’s also very different from the common buckwheat that you may be familiar with.

Until 2020, Himalayan Tartary Buckwheat was not commercially grown in the US. Big Bold Health changed that. We partnered with small family farms to grow an organic harvest, and with an artisanal miller to produce a truly unique flour that is now available and in high demand. We’re even worked with a soil scientist who has conducted studies on how to bring the best of nature into our fields. Get to know the community that is bringing this superfood to your table.
